Flash & Captivate

I built this learning module with a combination of authoring tools: Flash and Captivate 4.
 
I used Flash to draw and build the digital piano contained inside this module.  I used ActionScript 2 to get the notes to animate on the musical staff every time the user clicks on a piano key.
 
I finished the module in Captivate 4, using the widget and variables features in Captivate 4, to allow the user to print a certificate of completion with their name printed on it.
 
I used Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology for the voice-over audio.

MUSIC TRAINING - THE CHROMATIC SCALE
 
Designed for all types of learners, this lesson uses an interactive piano to teach the fundamentals of the chromatic scale.  It provides opportunities for the participant to use this knowledge to practice reading simple musical notation.   Practice sessions are performed on the piano with fun tests at the end. Designed in Flash and Captivate, combined.
